From the Director

Greetings in our Savior's name,

From one Christian home schooler to another, I hope that you will find support and assistance, fun and friendship, and the Spirit of Christ within the CCHE organization!

The purpose of Christ Centered Home Educators is to provide encouragement and support for home schooling families and to promote fellowship and friendships among members based on the teachings of Christ. The CCHE organization does that in a number of ways and hopes that, in all ways, we reach and assist our CCHE members and, in all ways, we are touching our members in a special way!

You have felt "called" to home school. That is a very special calling! It is a calling so special that sometimes you are called to have extra special dedication! It is also a calling that can sometimes ask you to give a lot extra than you might feel you are capable of. Christ is your FIRST call for help! However, we pray that Christ Centered Home Educators will be a real hand of help, support, assistance, guidance, friendship, information, and prayer for you as you follow this special path in your family's life!

Your CCHE organization is structured as an organization and not just as an internet group so that you are provided the group benefits that come from a such a structured group. However, while we may have the stability of an organization, we are a group of REAL people with REAL lives to share and REAL hope in Christ! We find that, as we work together and serve one another, our own personal burdens are shared and lessened while our blessings are shared and doubled! You can find a lot of love and friendship within the CCHE organization, and you will find a lot for your children--for your family--for yourselves. However, as a Christ Centered Organization, we also realize that YOU are a part of us! While we are here to serve you, YOU have been placed here to be a part of us as well, and YOU are a part of what makes us a Christian "body" and not just another item on your schedule--or even just another group! We are connected--in our home schooling lives--in our Christian lives--in our faith--and in our dedication to one another!

Come! We welcome you as a part of the CCHE organization--an organization of Christ Centered Home Educators!

See how you can become involved in one of our CCHE affiliated groups or geographical subgroups, and see how you can be involved in our general Christ Centered Home Educators Association, and let's get to know one another and be a part of one another's home schooling lives as we provide for our children's needs and our family's well being!

We look forward to seeing you and pray that your school year will be filled with blessings from God and with strength that only our Lord, Jesus Christ, can provide!

Our Statement Of Faith

The Statement of Faith must be signed by the Executive Committee members and other positions which entail on-going contact with the public - this includes Public Relations, Advertising, Coordinators for? Kids, and Assistant Activities Coordinator.

We believe:

  1. The Bible is the inspired and only infallible and authoritative written word of God.

  2. There is one God, eternally existent in three persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.

  3. In the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in his personal future return to this earth in power and glory.

  4. In being born again by repentance of sin and acceptance of Christ's salvation by grace through His death on the cross.

  5. In the sanctifying power of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a holy life.

  6. In the resurrection of both the saved and the lost, the one to everlasting life and the other to everlasting damnation.
